Projects completed in 2017.

I am going to try very hard to get all of my current projects and a few of my UFO's done this year - I would love to start the new year with a totally clean slate - that will probably never happen but there is still no tax on dreams.

This is a dresden Pin cushion.  It was designed for out Lydia Circle group in June of 2017

This is a Jenny Beyer Quilt that I completed in June of 2017.  It was a gift for my Grandson's Wedding in July 2017.  It was machine and hand pieced/appliqued and hand quilted.

Two completed Mug Rugs.  One was for a project for our ladies in Lydia Circle.  The other goes in my Bible Study Bag, which I will post as soon as I photograph it.

Bookmark made with scraps of fabric and fold over elastic. I made it to fit over my Journal but it can easily be made to fit any book from a tiny paperback to a large magazine just by changing the length of the elastic.

Christmas Wishes - This is a UFO from a couple of years ago.  It started life as a block of the month and ended up on my UFO Table.  I finally finished it in January 2017.

Crayon Quilt - This one was fun to make.  Finding all those bright colors in my stash.  This was completed in March 2017 and gifted to my new great-niece who lives in Australia.

Loyal Union Sampler - This is a UFO that started life about 5 years ago as a block of the week in an online group.  I completed it in February 2017.

We have been remodeling and redecorating our guest bedroom.  New flooring, new paint, redid the ceiling and had to remake the drapes.  I even made the new pillowcases to match everything.  The quilt is from last year but love it on this bed.  Made the pillowcases March 30, 2017.

With my constantly growing family I needed a bigger table cloth for our family dinners.  This one is mainly linen - except for the border and applique.  It is big enough for out dining room table - with the 2 18' extensions in it.

Baby Bows and Twinkle Toes - I have loved this quilt ever since I saw one online several years ago.  When I had a good reason to make one, I jumped at the chance.  It was completed in March 2017 and now belongs to my new Great-Granddaughter.

February Silhouette is an appliqued wall hanging - part of a year long collection I hope to complete.  It is machine appliqued and machine quilted.  I completed it on January 11, 2017.

This is my very first project for 2017.  I decided I needed a sewing room apron to try to avoid all the thread and fabric scraps sticking to my clothes.  It's just a tea towel - very easy to make.
